MY HENNA BOX STORY

MY HENNA BOX founder Ammarah Member has always been somewhat of an explorer. At the age of 17 Ammarah turned her love for henna into a Instagram account and eBay Store MY HENNA BOX. Each week her cones would spark a sell out across the UK. She started asking friends and family for help, eventually those friends and relations became employees. MY HENNA BOX moved into its own kitchen space and its own URL, leaving eBay in the dust.

Ammarah started in Leicester at her parents home in a small room experimenting with henna, a single laptop and an eBay account, while studying an in-depth level of Arabic literature and theology. 

During her academic holidays, she made numerous experiments and searched  the state Rajasthan and a city called Sojat. After testing many crops and trying to find the perfect selection, she secured what became a friendship with a Premium Henna farmer. 4 Years later, we've outgrown that room, moved into a purpose built henna kitchen, and today we're bigger and better than ever. We now carry henna powder, essential oils and henna accessories under our own label.
